  1. Hi, as Clive says, Mallie was the last owner of Sundog. He intended to restore and live on her. Two cranes were used to lift her onto a bank at Geldeston. Unfortunately she needed far more work than one person could give her and she was broken up. Mallie did try and get funding from local sources but with no success. A few months ago I scanned some of his pictures of Sundog and will try and find them. She was a beautiful clinker built counter sterned wherry, and big at sixty foot. Mat
  2. Hi all, what I cannot understand is how this will be implemented. Does it mean that only registered boatyards will be able to buy antifouling? What about the diy-ers who build their own boats, will they then have to take the finished boat somewhere to have it antifouled, just my daft thoughts.
  3. Beautiful looking boat Doug! Reckon the Broom will look just as good judging by the work you have done so far! If you need a sailing "fix' more than welcome to use the Westerly especially after the care you took with her last time out Mat
  4. Morning all, just joined the forum. In the process of restoring another old broads yacht, this one is a 20 foot Reverie class destined for someones wood burner! Look forward to chatting with old and new friends once I"ve got my head round how the forum works, Mat
