  2. Ok. So, we pick up Brinks Lullaby 3 from Wroxham on Saturday. Yay!!! First time!!! The only initial plan we have is to head to Great Yarmouth. Assuming we will not have too much time to cruise on the first day/evening, can you please recommend a good first mooring, ever, on the route to Great Yarmouth, where we can walk the pooch and eat at a decent restaraunt? The darling wife and myself will be preferring not to be cooking in the evenings so any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks and cannot wait, to breathe..... 7. Ok. So, I understand we will need to "pump out" whilst on our journeys for the week. Thats fine but is it something to be concerned about and does it really cost at least £12.00 everytime. And as well, whats with the "blue" stuff??? We will be on Brinks Lullaby with 4/5 on board. Oh yeh, the wife wanted to know if she will be able to use her own hairdryer on board? oh dear!!! Lol!!! 9. Some advice please. I havent fished in a while but keen for our trip next week. Just bought one of these simple kits to have a play with. What is the best way to go about to try and catch a large Pike? Will this rod and reel allow it? Any good spots between Wroxham and Great Yarmouth an d then South? Have dealt with large bluefish, fluke and flounder so I do have a little experience. The hooks that came with the kit look quite small, any thoughts? Good eve. 11. Hello, I will be on the Broads from the 19th of August for a week. I understand I need to get a 8 day license. I will get a free license for my 14 year old. We are sharing a rod but what would happen if my wife had a go and my name is on the license? Do we need a different license for each different person who MAY fish. Any advice would be great. Thanks. 14. Hi all!!! I read somewhere that it would be good to get a couple of doors matts to be right on and off the boat to make it easier, especially for the dog. We are on Brinks Lullaby 3 next week and hoped you would give me your thoughts. The bottom of the door matt is pvc I believe. They are fairly inexpensive. I assume I would get an outdoor one but I just wanted to make sure we were not gonna slip around more than we need to. Thoughts??? And Thanks!!! Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
  15. Yes. Leaving Wroxham on the 19th. Leave Great Yarmouth then head South with no idea where to go!!! Very exiting!!! Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
  16. Hello all. Me again. Leaving from Wroxham on the 19th of August and really want to take the pooch to a beach. We will be heading straight to Great Yarmouth and I understand dogs are allowed on the Southern part of the beach. Any recommendations for other beaches we can access. As we are in Brinks Lullaby cruiser we will not be able to pass under Potter Heigham so going through Great Yarmouth seems to be good option. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I used to fish off the eastern seaboard for fluke, flounder and bluefish. Obviously broads a lot different.I understand i need a license. Just want to spend sometime relaxing and fishing with 14 year old son and wife. To keep things simple, what rod and bait and anything else i need to be prepared. Thanks I hope you can help. Oh yeh, first time on the broads as well. Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
  20. Hello, I have booked to go from Wroxam on the Brinks Lullaby with myself, my wife, our 14 year old son and our cockapoo. We do not drink so hitting every pub is not the goal. Having peace and quiet and being able to take the dog on nice quiet walks is the goal. A bit of fishing, maybe. Any thoughts about route going North or South? I understand that no matter what, it will be busy as we are going in peak season. Getting very excited!!! Thanks. David Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
