The Harsh Reality Of Extreme Control.

Recommended Posts

Satire is an excellent vehicle for opinion and in this case it comes from an informed source which we should not ignore.

Personally I think the whole saga of this sign is lamentable and its opening ceremony did no-one any credit. Does it really require "chains of office" to put up a tourism sign on a railway platform? To say nothing of the cost.

Unless it was also felt to have some local political import, of course?

I have long regarded the Doctor as a wholly confirmed 'control freak'. Another example comes from the recent agenda of the committee that is the Broads Authority. Coincidently the 'accounts' for the previous period won't be available until the day after the meeting, how very convenient

His position is a political appointment. He was appointed by Tony Bliar's government I seem to recollect. He answers to the Secretary of State for the Environment, currently Angela Leadsom, then the prime minister but ultimately to the tax payer.
