Rather than distract from timbo's excellent 'Tramping' topic I would just like to point a couple of things out about women and shopping that only other women will understand.......  

The need to shop

After going in every shop for a particular item and then going back to the very first shop you went in to buy it (drives im indoors nuts) 

Spending money on things we probably don't need, will possibly never wear but won't ever admit it

Going into Dunelm to purchase a lamp for the bedroom only to realise whilst wandering round you've decided to re-do the whole room, purchased a whole new bedroom, from light fittings to rugs, spent loads of money, but won't ever admit it

Now if you guys want to go into Chandlers and tool shops to buy whatever it is you buy in these places and not want to upset your lady, this will do the trick always.....

Love her

Cherish her

Protect her

lust for her

Die for her

And girls' if you want to get away with any of the above, impress your man by

Turning up naked

And bringing beer
