Yeah thanks. Its an 18.5 and our pride and joy.

I bought it three years ago as a wreck and spent a year on a full refurb.

I have been thinking a bit about house flags.

In flag etiquette, the burgee of a yacht club to which you belong may be considered as your house flag, especially when flown at the masthead.

So I guess that would apply to the NBN pennant, as well?

I would have thought so but house flags are normally rectangular, aren't they?

Rectangular if you wear it on the bow as a "jack" and also as a racing flag on a yacht, otherwise, not necessarily.

It can also be worn at a "rakish angle" which I have a feeling you might prefer?

I can see where confusion about flags and ensigns could arise ....... I was always led to believe , rightly or wrongly , that the Red Ensign was flown by ex-Merchant Navy seamen , and the White by ex-Royal Navy ...... I stand corrected
