At one time the Authority had a well documented and publicised policy with regard to the 'sheds' at Potter. Had it not been fought then I doubt that they would be there now, or at least for much longer.

That’s exactly what I heard.
Apparently, in the mid 80s a significant number of the bungalows / sheds / cottages were going to be flattened. It was a done deal. When it was agreed they could stay they became the Type B leases.
There’s a book I’m trying to get a copy of but can’t find anywhere:

However, the lady who wrote it assures me she’s updating it and will be releasing a new version soon.

We (the Tenants association) had a litter pick recently around Potter and it was fascinating to talk to some of the people who have been involved for years.

I have a copy that you can borrow. It is worth a read.

If you put in a search reminder on eBay a copy will turn up. I paid £10 for mine.

It Looks like the Broadshaven / Norada is now open, according the the other place and the outside has gone all black. Bet that will warm the place up in the sun.

It's always good to have a bloke-creche available when serious shopping is in the air - I've often found the Troll Cart very useful when dragged to Regent Rd.  (Winking smiley)
