Jonny,

It usually takes me just over five minutes to drive from my house to where these pictures are taken.

These Broads are known locally as 'The Trinity Broads' and they really are beautifull places to me.

They consist of, Filby Broad, Eels Foot Broad, Rollesby Broad, Lady or Lily Broad, and Ormesby Great Broad and are generally landlocked, except for Fleet Dyke that links Filby Broad to the Bure..

Only small sailing dinghies and rowing boats are allowed...no motor boats at all !!

Boats of any sort are very rarely seen on Ormesby Broad...only the odd single fisherman, in a dinghy.

The top picture was taken just outside The Eels Foot pub, just as the sun was setting and yes, it Really did look just as it appears on here...it looked like it was on fire with the glow from the sun...amazing to see.

You have seen one of those sunsets on here a few days back. It sent you cross eyed...lol

The centre pic was shot from the roadside of the A149, looking towards Rollesby/Potter Heigham.

Part of Ormesby Broad is shown here.

The bottom pic is shot from the same roadside position but slightly further south, showing Ormesby Great Broad looking easterly, if you study very closely you can just about make out the white post of one of the Windfarm mills at Somerton Blood Hills.....it's to the centreline and on the left hand side quarter of the pic.

End of Geography Lesson for today..

Regards:

Clive.

Hi Jonny, :wave

Glad you like 'em and Thanks. :)

I have a fair few but as you may already have seen I've posted quite a few on Richards site and it gets harder to get pics, especially as I am a landlubber I tend to run out of places to get to.

Would you wish me to post pics on here that have already been posted on NBF?

If so, I could fill up a few pages no probs.

Let me know your views on that if you wish.

Regards

Clive.

Ok Brian,

Here's a couple to go on with.

Not all have water on but they are taken very close to our rivers.

Hope you like 'em!!

Regards

Clive.

Hi Stevie, :wave

How are you mate?? Aren't you with Griff for the weekend?

As I mentioned earlier in this thread it's becoming more difficult to provide pics that are previously unseen.

I post pics on NBF and would be more than happy to put loads of them on here providing no one gets bored sick with them.

What are your, or anyone else's views on this?

Glad you like 'em anyway!! :):)

Regards:

Clive.
