work started on the sliding wheel house sides today

i dident get round to taking any piccies of work in progress

more sanding and varnishing today and a second undercoat on the stbd hull

today was a slow day but i did manage to take photos of the work done

on the port side slidding roof

I'm keeping the windscreen covered with polythene at the mo, so that it will be dry

when we get round to sanding and varnishing.

today i managed to get the 1st gloss coat on the

stbd side

i spent most of the time slowing boats down so that

the waterline would stay dry, as I'm working from

the painting platform.

i also got another coat of varnish on the port

wheel house side.

starboard side

2nd gloss coat on the hull

2nd coat of varnish on the aft cabin sides

the hand rails got another coat of varnish

the hull now has two top coats on both sides and one

more coat is planned.

i havent decided on which deck paint to use yet.

just a thought jill are you living aboard while the work is being done?

it must be getting awfully cold at night now so i am presuming that thewindows etc are all in place and sealed

i love the idea of living on a boat but hate to be cold !!!!

yes i do live aboard and its is that light the multifuel stove time of year

im nice and warm, thanks but just a bit dusty from all the sanding.
