the transom got another coat of varnish

after being keyed as it was 48hrs since the last coat.

how long can a coat be left before it needs keying for

another coat at this time of year?

if it goes dull, dose it have to be sanded back?

or will another coat bring it back.

the coat of vanish i did today was very late and im wondering what it will look like tomorrow.

the forth coat of varnish on the transom today :dance

feeling a little more secure now

i have the old back awning as a template and i've bought the material to make a new one.

i have some friends who make marquees and will ask them if they can do it for me, during the winter

when they are not so busy

if not, i will just have to start saving and do it when i can.

hi geoff

yes i need temperatures 10 degrees at least for any more painting or varnishing

and dampness could be be a problem now.

luckily ive done all of the important stuff.

anti slip paint on the decks needs to be finished but i managed to do the section

that nearly had me in, last winter :bow

this is a before picture, see how it shines

looking at the forcast, tomorrow will be full blat on getting the decks anti slip completed.
