i just cant picture any of them, this is a difficult one.

The pics reminds me Gays Staithe at Neatishead. / End of Navigation at Horstead Mill / End of Navigation at Dilham

If its none of them, well .........

Not been up there for a while but is it where Tylers Cut joins the North walsham Canal? I'm wondering if the last pic is the entrance to the canal, I went up a short way years ago in a rowing boat and it was well overgrown then

hello howard

no its not by the canal

if you go towards dilham

the river forks into two

the right hand cut is signposted dilham

the left side looks to shallow to get down

and indeed it is very shallow

but i used a rowing boat and an electric outboard

to get down and the river gets very narrow

as well as shallow and goes through a wooded area

it sort of ends at what looks like someones private

gardens where some of the pictures were taken

its well worth trying to see this hidden part of the broads

as i have done or take a canoe up there

you wont be dissapointed :)

Glad you like it Jonny.

To be honest, if I termed it "fabulous", it would be an understatement to describe the place.

Regards,

Clive.

Pete,

Well done, you have it in one!! :clap:clap:clap

I managed to go there yesterday afternoon and although the walk has nearly killed me, I think it's a nice way to have been to die!! :naughty:

If I could do it again, I would go again today for another wander around but sods law won't allow me to.

Regards,

Clive.

Pete,

We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day yesterday and to be able to go there. I enjoy the ride from my house too!

Rain or no rain, they're still lovely pictures to see...and I can imagine the kids loving it.

I'll be there again, (providing I'm well enough to go) when the colours begin to change into those beautiful autumn golden browns.

I can imagine just how good it will all look...can't wait to poke the lens in that direction.

Regards,

Clive.
