grendel
One thing I forgot to mention about the experience was the audience we had on the day, - A pair of seals popped up to watch us pass.

BroadAmbition
Cracking photo. All I said to LD via the radio was could you do me a favour and check the sea conditions off the breakwaters and report back please? I'm on it he says, and orf he goes. The radio burst into life sometime later telling us not to bother as it was way outside of our comfort zones. MTB's Skipper also stated that if it wasn't for the fact that Lowestoft to GYA is a short run and that it was a special occasion - he would not have gone out in it and no way was he going out in it again. LD also stated later on that if his good lady had been onboard for that foray then he would have been divorced and his boat sold pronto. Put that statement together with his photo and I just can't help having a bit of a girly giggle Griff
BroadScot
For some strange reason, I just cannot see any Yorkshireman having a girly giggle, especially an ex RN gentleman! Iain
Vaughan
For music, how about "Fiddler's Green" by Schooner Fare, or by the same group - Shoals of Herring, which was written about Yarmouth harbour. Both available on Youtube. Fiddler's Green used to be the party piece of one of our forum members in the bar on Wroxham Broad, of a Sunday night. Maybe he can give us a reprise? BroadAmbition
Vaughan - You're a bit behind the times here I think. Robin a couple of weeks or so ago now has completed his editing, adding music etc and produced this:- Do try to keep up! Griff
