  3. looks like a proper bargain! she is a bit late to this years party so is priced accordingly but will be more in line next year.
  4. no probably not, we are about on weekends if needed but would rather have the weekends off

  10. Hi Paul, I have a couple.
  11. you could get some cast and chromed, they never were particularly well finished, you could 3D print some if no one will lend you theirs, ask Eddie at Vintage industrial switch to cast you some in brass, they are in Stalham he can design and 3d print too
  12. The 'Garden' mooring has gone but I still have spaces to put boats from 18-38 feet
  13. Hi, some new mores have joined us but we still have some moorings available.. CCTV going in soon for extra security. cheers, Clive
  14. i have a few duplicates, id happily swap, one would be good in my collection as Dad sold the yard to Fred Newson. I no longer look on eBay as I also think the prices are silly, (unless you want a Woods or Richardsons badge!)
  15. its not a real money spinner for a yard to do a pump out, its more of a service and possibly building a relationship so they can possibly get a bit of work out of you! A hire yard may do pump outs on non turnaround days just to give staff something to do.. Brundall yards are generally a bit more expensive (if they do them ) as they have to tanker the S**T away as there is no mains sewer.. Im not sure what Brundall charges but north is generally £15 for one or £20 for two but some yards like to do them cheap and get the volume in..
  16. we have 4 on the Horning Pleasurecraft moorings and I would tend to agree
  17. Hi, Since we took over Cove Marina last month I have basically been off work which wasn't ideal, I did get the chance to meet a few moorers who all seem lovely but unfortunately there have been a few people selling boats at the end of the season and a couple of movers which despite some new arrivals have left us with a few spaces, we have spaces from 18' to a 'private' berth with summer house and garden which will take 46' all the moorings are £56 +VAT per foot per year.. (except the private mooring) all moorings have electricity (£60 per year standing charge) WIFI, toilets, showers, all services etc, we give refunds for any full months not used (less £50 admin) get in tough if you need a space or know anyone looking Cheers, Clive you can email cove@broadshols.co.uk message me on here or text me, (my number is fairly easy to find!)
  18. i think that stuff was so hard wearing they used it on the exterior of the space shuttle, it was only the piping which gave out so we stopped putting the piping on!
  19. No, they are not, but you need a mix, running a fleet is more interesting but you need skilled staff capable of doing the jobs if you have the right team they will pay for some of the overhead on non turnaround days.
  20. its called 'Fluid Pricing' it was recently introduced to Boating, personally I feel that if you have someone prepared to put their trust in you and book a year in advance then its a bit rude to have the same holiday later sold at a lesser rate, I do not think it is healthy for the industry and encourages last minute booking which is dangerous, that's why I came up with the Fair price charter (in my last job) that's been stopped now but its something Horning Pleasurecraft works to even though we have not advertised it. I do reserve the right to put prices up though,
