  1. What a super video, Lord Paul, so many thanks. Just shows you the problems of arriving in Gorleston and the sheer relief as you turn starboard down the Yare! Bill, I just asked on the NBN FB pages if anyone has any news.
  2. Selsie, Hi. A warm "Welcome Aboard" the good ship NBN from us, too.
  3. Words fail me! (Here we go again.........) Eight new members on Saturday and Twelve new members yesterday! A very sincere to you all! Please tell us a little about yourselves in this section.
  4. Going South it looks like an overnight stay at Great Yarmouth Yacht Station, followed by an early start?
  5. Wonderful, Tim! Just Wonderful! We've so missed your beautiful grasp of humanity!
  6. A warm "Welcome Aboard" the good ship NBN, Loddonlad. What a fair selection of pubs you have at your disposal!
  7. Thanks, Alan. Yes, I guess I could post a typical 'my day' on life with a new knee joint, couldn't I?
  8. WOW, Alan, well done! And how much would that have cost at the main dealers, I wonder?
  9. JDW do rooms now, Ian. Just checked, full. Waveney House Hotel have 2 rooms left. Good Luck!
  10. The Nancy Oldfield Trust is a very good idea, Paul.
  11. I think that "What is the worse that could happen" might be a complete ban on the third time. I'm sure that the BA wouldn't let one get away with it more than that.
  12. Have a Great Time, Jay! Looking forward to your blogs.
  13. I suggest that you might add Leccy Y/N and Stern/Side on Y/N, Griff. We intend to be there, albeit by car!
  14. Which was how I made my first flying model Spitfire... with parachute silk! She was immensely strong and even survived a hand launch by my then wife who threw her nigh on vertically with the ED Racer screaming at max revs. I had no hope of controlling her, threw down the controller as she homed in on me and legged it exit left.
  15. A warm welcome aboard the good ship NBN from us, Bill.
  16. Quite so on the unsteady future. I was forever wondering if the Woods End would be open, let alone who might be managing it if it was.
  17. I first spoke with Lee just before he opened and he was quite clear about his intentions then and selling up early didn't come into the equation. I can now see that EastCoastIPA's words above make good sense but it does go on to say that ill-health is the reason for sale.
  18. Words fail me at just what you've taken on, Robin, and how you so calmly get on with it all! And what a wonderful crew you've taken on!
  19. Please leave it alone until the Moderators come up with their decision. Recent comments also hidden. If necessary the topic will be locked until we do.
  20. We remember it well, Alan! Albion was moored side on just out of picture on our starboard side: The stars arrive! And looking around as they are poled away:
