Here's my first post. I was on Albion yesterday, going from Cantley towards Norwich. When we passed Buckenham Sailing Club, the pub next door, the Beauchamp Arms, was pointed out to us. It seems that the correct pronunciation of “Beauchamp” is actually “Buckenham”. I also recall that “Berney Arms” should be pronounced “Barney Arms”. Anyone have further information on these, or other Broads pronunciations? Kevin.
