  3. Hi folks, We bought one about 7 years at Aldis for £29.00 It has been used many times in Premier Inns, Travelodge and yes even on a boat. The only thing we add is a couple of ice blocks on the base to help speed up the cooling process. We can plug the 12volt plug in the boot of our car so very handy indeed. It is a bit heavier than your normal cool box. Iain.
  4. That John Williams, Eric, if memory serves me correctly was at one time the fleet hire manager for Porter & Haylett before going on his own Hire yard. Iain.

  21. Been to Holland several times, well Amsterdam, Europort/Rotterdam and service stations on our way into Germany. Very friendly folks and the Amstel aint bad either. Oh I keep meaning to go over in the spring to Keukenhof Gardens. Iain
  22. Bobdog they aint from London, they are from here........Mitchell's and Butlers headquarters. Company address: Mitchells &Butlers plc 27 Fleet Street Birmingham B3 1JP UK. I agree with your local pubs objective, but the prices in Norfolk are much dearer than up North. Iain.
  23. A guid welcome frae me also in Scotland Iain
  24. Clive, spot on, they sure do. I have used lots in the Dorset area when on Holiday. One in particular near Boscombe. M&B have sold off alot of their Innkeepers chain to Travelodge, and maybe are concentrating in the Midlands where they are based? The Swan Inn at Horning is also one of their chain but under the Toby Carvery chain I think. My one complaint about their grub (Harvesters) is, its all a bit samey, and the chips eneamic. Iain.
