I've always wondered why these units are needed. If connected to shore and the battery charger is on is that not doing the same job?

This is the damage caused to Southern Crusader by a shaver socket. It was in use at the time by someone charging an electric toothbrush overnight! They were very lucky as were asleep went it went up.

Keep your eye on Southern Crusader, there are shares currently for sale on the website and you only need to buy one week at a time.

A week on Southern Crusader used to cost me just over £300 per week and when I sold the two shares I had I actually got back more than I paid for them. Yes, thats the one. More than nippy enough for Broads use. The engine spec is on the specs at the top of the advert but have just changed it so it appears lower down in the description as well. Cheers

Southern Crusader is currently with Navigators and General, they told me a couple of years ago they were not taking on any new business with Syndicates but we were ok as existing business. Jon

No probs. Just as a word of warning we could not find anybody to service our Waeco fridge when it broke, only had it 4 years or so. Good thing about the Isotherm ones is that JPC will come out and fix them. NYA are good for Gel Repairs for future reference also.

Worth getting a price off JPC direct, he fitted ours for us at our mooring.

We have just had one of these fridges fitted yesterday by Tom which he managed to do for us the same day as the boat was in Brundall. Very happy with it so far. Swapped it from our Waeco which has broken after 5 years and I could not find anybody to repair it. Went with the Isotherm in the end as Tom can do repairs on these.

Is it possible for you to let me know the ID of the clear hose please, I bought a couple of plastic adapters last year for Reedham but one was too big and the other too small and could not find anything in between.
