  1. I will always fly from Norwich whenever possible, its not that expensive if you cost in the travel to other airports and the bonus is when I land back at Norwich after a holiday or trip,I am home within 15 mins, better than a 100 mile trip back after a long flight.

The people who complain are probably the same who will drive 4 or 5 miles to save a 1p a litre on fuel.now thats another debate.

    Support your local Airport

  2. Glad you had a great time Lori, you picked a good week weather wise,I agree with all your comments about my home county,Norfolk is our little piece of heaven on earth.

And just to make you want a bit more, the broads are just 10 mins away from my front door, what a wonderful part of the world this is.

  3. My Rosie was moored there before I sold her, there are 2 boats both ex tangos and have been for sale for 6 months or so,he was asking 17500 for them, they looked pretty sound and they obviously need a bit of TLC at 12k they are good value,I would think that an offer of 10k and they will bite your hand off, also you may also be able to moor there as well.it was £30 per foot

  4. Ah but as I own the land and as I've watched the news today the UN say it is my human right to live as such and as an ethnic minority - a Jedi - recognised by default after the last census - I declare that I am fully within my rights to live as such !

O B One KANOBI,may the force be with you.

How long before the local force have you off after all the squit from the locals :River Police:River Police:River Police:River Police:River Police

You can site your van in my back garden anytime you like Gav as long as you swear allegiance to the mighty Canaries,

  5. Reminds me of a day in the 70's when the fishing boat I was on was towed into harbour in high winds when the engine failed to start, the sight of the lifeboat was very welcoming, from that day ,I have always supported the lifeboats and always donate to such a worthy cause.

  6. I think Jill has been looking for an excuse to share those You Tube clips  'Wooden Heart' is my own personal favourite. Not much good to jive to but then at my age........

  8. Dan said"After reflecting I feel both myself and David were wrong in mentioning we thought they were bigotted views,"

Thanks Dan for being so honest.

I have now had my say and I shall not comment any further

Lets hope Neil returns and we can all get back to normality.

  9. I can only say that, having met Neil and Karen a few times this year, that they are one of the nicest couples you would want to invite to your home (which we did). So generous with their time and friendly too.

I have always taken some of Neil's more thought-provoking statements with a pinch of the proverbial and am sorry that some see this in the way that they do.

That having been said I ask Neil to reconsider his decision; the mods do have a job to do and I believe they do it fairly, consistently and considerately to all.

This is the best forum we belong to and long may it continue to be. :clap:clap:clap

    Well said John.

  10. I guess that's where we differ then.

I don't see this as an issue about "Neil's Cause", or even "Dan's Cause", just simply the need for a public forum to not fall foul of the law in order to continue.

No one has been banned, just asked to comply with the TOS.

and I think Dan was very fair in ignoring your totally uncalled for "some of the comments a bit closer to home" remark about him.

A large spoon is on its way to you.

  11. What do you actually vote on Barry?

Hi,Steve nice to know your name at last,we take a vote in team (Mods) about all sorts of discussions on the forum if they are a concern to the forum and members, nothing sinister just reasonable debate that comes to a decision on what to do to resolve it.

By the way i hear on the grapevine that you are a competant fisherman who is retired and likes to fish.. Maybe we could meet up and do a bit of fishing and have a pint or two, just asking steve.. I am local and live half hour from Norwich..And have an old ex hireboat (southern based) with forward well ideal for fishing out on a broad...PM me if you like.. :wavecheersbarcheers

Once my holidays are finished ie middle sept,I will drop you a line,I would be pleased to join you for a days fishing and a pint or 2
