  3. That,s better,looking dare i say it blingy!!
  4. hi, i think that if the camara doesn,t do what you want ,i,d send it back, you will never really use it if your not happy with it,i don,t know anything about compacts that are on the current market at the moment so can,t comment on that, hope you resolve it soon, you could always sell it on ,but this would mean a slight loss in monetery terms regards Trev
  5. try this http://www.raymarine.com/SubmittedFiles ... AH6000.pdf
  6. Good idea Clive, especially the beer bit!!
  7. hi, personally i,d just fit a new ,horizontal calorifier in the engine bay(ours in in there aswell starbourd side ),i wouldn,t worry about the engine conections ,if your stat,s heathy the pump will fill the coil on the calorifier no problem,1/2 inch as aposed to 1.5 inch full flow.Depending on how far you want to go,with the job ,but you could just leave system as is,and just make sure that the calorifiers full(by running the pump)before you used the imersion, here,s a link to some calorifiers but i suspect you,ll have seen them before http://www.surecal.co.uk/Product/SureCal.aspx ,good luck what ever you decide
  8. hi, the only problem i could see in raising the outlet from the hotwater tank would be if it were higher than the tank in the bow,ie it wouldn,t fill by gravity,ie there may be a delay whilst the pump pushed the water up the outlet pipe..I think i would install a preassure pump between the bow tank and the mid cold and calirfior(you could use the old pump and install a preassure switch which would be less money) this would give you a preassurized water system the only part missing is the preassure switch, and maybe a non return valve between the bow tank and the pump feed just a thought regards trev agree with others about the engine water jacket conections
  9. hI, not heard of that set up before, mine has a craking battery for each engine, and one domestic, with a 3 way split doiode for charging from any engine, when moored overnight ,with no shore power we isolate the starting batteries and use the domestic only for lights/tele ect, that set up is a new one on me?
  10. Ginger biscuits that,s what you need for drift fishing......Sue used to take a packet when we used to drift along the Fairway mark off Wells for 4 miles at a time,it takes some getting used to,just keep watching the rod tip that helps aswell. If you want to sample it just put her in neutral if we get out at easter! ps take a bucket!
  11. hi, on the subject of CHARTS!!i use one for the east coast it,s a standfordssmall boat,s chart ,they, are made from tearproof/waterproof paper so can take some stick on board and under the chart table http://www.stanfords.co.uk/stock/the-ea ... lk-126124/. As regarding the trip to Scroby sands ...to see the seals, you,ll have to get pretty close to a dangerous piece of shifting sands to get a good view,Sealions and seals fight you know if you run aground ,this will be very much dependent on wind/tide and swell for me to go there!!. If anybody dosn,t fancy that long a trip on sat a quick trip out to see how the boats handle ...especialy for us first time out to sea in a new boat,to them, may be a better option with a longer trip on sunday...lowestoft to Yarmouth (via scroby)what do you think?? confirm The Grand Cru for friday at oulton and one night at lowestoft.
  12. oh thank god, i think ours will be in use.. condition unless i can get down this weekend!!
  13. Sunday, another chance to get on the salt, if the weather is right this could be a run out and in at Yarmouth for the trip across Breydon and round to the Dukes Head for Sunday lunch. Is anybody still doing this??
  14. hi, personally i wouldn,t bother which battery does what ,i would just change them all out ,if you have two bad batteries and replace them with new leaving an old one ,you still have a weak link, i,d buy three combined cranking and deep cycle batteries and have done with it. Trev
  15. Hi, all you need ,is a long hydralic ram ,a switch ...non latching ,up and down, a trim tab pump, and whalla there you go,mine came as standard on the Falcon 27 And i havn,t got an electric engine!! lol

  17. Yes they do look like they have been eating Brundell bay batteries ,and shopping trolleyies ,(they chuck everything in there, lol),mine are a bit blunt on the leading edges ,and have no paint left there eiether ,but shine after a run, will have to see how they go now we are now in fresher water, those due o props seem to suscepatable to damage ,it could even be a tangled rope which has bent the blades. I literaly prop walked the boat half way up rockland straith last year ,but didn,t damage the blades like that(bravo 1 legs) with single props, hope your whoes get better soon
