  1. Hi sorry to say i will be sailing at that time but in the Caribbean as it is warmer on my old bones but have a great time up river
  2. My hobby is restoring old boats over the years i have done several. I started with an old breydon gun punt which was a total wreck but i managed to get her back in the water and she now resides in the Broads Museum. At the moment i have a 1960's plywood skinned hull day boat she had been epoxy coated and as with all boats of this type had gone rotten from the inside out i have re-skinned her and i am now starting on the inside I have no idea where she came from the only clue i have is a 1963 10 HP johnson outboard
  3. Does any one know if there are any of these aft cockpit cabin cruiser;s lef?t
  4. Hi Dave Best of luck with your venture. I had an aunt who lived at ludham and spent many happy hours on Womack water i used to borrow a boat from P.H. and row around the island (is the remains of the wherry the lord Roberts still there?) so it is good to see somebody putting life back into an area which could so very easily become just another place to moor for the night and nothing to do. Again best of luck G.G.
  5. Hello and welcome aboard i have also been looking for a wooden boat to restore i think they are great and are more in keeping with the broads tradition
