  1. Where did those 36 years go? Have a great time YnysMon
  2. Not alone, OBB I like to see the views and still feel I have a bit of privacy, tinted windows give me that feeling, so I only usually put up the curtains at bedtime on the shore side if the boat has them.
  3. I too hope they have sorted it out for you and that you have a trouble free day
  4. When we hired Fair Prince 2 out during her first year, the roof was manual then and it too got stuck open. Engineers came and got it going again and told us it should be opened evenly from both sides from the outside. I enquired as too who might be helming the boat whilst we carried out this manouvre!!
  5. Hope you're right NorfolkNog, will be on the water on the 10th
  6. Thank you Kron for taking the time to share your holiday tales, great pictures too.
  7. .3728 of a mile or 1,968' 61/16" as you like feet and inches
  8. Sorry, should have said Hi Jamesa380 and aboard.
  9. I too was worried about the support as I have trouble with my back, sitting awkwardly or standing still for any length of time aggravates it but not this time. There is about 5" or 6" of backrest and the seat is shaped and padded with ample room to fidget around, I'm 5'7" and had loads of leg room and the helm has a twin seat, which I shared with a well built 6'2" guest with ease. I helmed from Beccles to Brammerton Common (just over 6hrs) stopping only for comfort breaks and mugs of tea. If you use the link in my previous post and look at the video tour. I'm one of those that doesn't mind the style because of the space it creates, I would definitely recommend Silent and I'm sure the other boats from the same mould would be just as spacious.
  10. All though the shape isn't everyone's cup of tea, we had 10 nights on Silent Emblem, the electric hybrid version. The use of the space was amazing with so much headroom too. The top deck was fantastic, great to helm from with really good views. Would I change anything, probably just add an electric mud weight.
  11. Hi Polaris and aboard. Ferry Marine have two similar boats from the same moulds, there are pictures and a video tour.
