  1. Wait until you go past St Bennett at least 2/3rds of the moorings are taped off.
  2. I had the same problem on Nipper I had a stainless one made by the Fabrication Company at Blofield that I cannot remember the name of. I think it was around £80 and took about a week.

  5. You could always go by water, I know a young lady that might be up for a trip, see does have form in this type of thing
  6. This is not the first time it’s had prop shaft problems. I guess they don’t build them like they use to.
  7. The amount of water coming in from the sea should be the same as what flows out, but the problem is as Vaughan stated there is a an abundance of run of water joining it from land so it therefore exceeds the ability of the water to flow out in the same time scale. I felt from the meeting that there is no joined up thinking between the various agencies to try and come to a solution.
  8. Be careful when taking out breakdown cover as most companies now don’t cover cars over 10 years old. Like most policies it’s all in the small print.
  9. A question on the Chase tonight was. Which area is home to 3 villages which have National Park visitor centres. The answer was the Norfolk Broads. But can anyone name the 3 villages. ?
  10. The dog insurance company does both the Focus ST and the Z4 for just under £500.
  11. I regularly used water to ballast Nipper down to get under potter. It went from 6-5 ft aircraft to 6-1 ft at the lowest.

  14. If you buy a car over 40k new , secondhand you pay £500 odd until the car is 5 years old then it drops to £180. By putting it on sorn you declare it off-road Then when you re tax it you pay the lower amount. Only problem comes if you have a private plate you cannot take the number off on line if the car has been sorned in the last 5 years it has to be done by post.
  15. My uncle use to change his oil on a v6 Clio every 3000 miles. He use to give it to his neighbour who used it to do an oil change on his ford focus. Now that’s what I call recycling.
  16. Bit confused that the max party is 6 where the transom decal says 8.
  17. Sorry not hear that Fingers crossed for a successful out come. Give our love to Mrs G x
  18. I can relate to that one. Only car I’ve owned where the engine spent more time on the bench than in the car.
  19. Took my car to the main dealer for a service yesterday, when I went to collect it the lady on reception explained that with the service I receive 12 months of breakdown cover including at home onward travel and over night accommodation if required all for the sum of £205. Halfords basic service was more than that and I would trust them with a barge pole.
  20. They cannot be doing to bad, a nice new estate car appeared outside earlier this year and that wasn’t cheap.
