The amount of water coming in from the sea should be the same as what flows out, but the problem is as Vaughan stated there is a an abundance of run of water joining it from land so it therefore exceeds the ability of the water to flow out in the same time scale. I felt from the meeting that there is no joined up thinking between the various agencies to try and come to a solution.

If you buy a car over 40k new , secondhand you pay £500 odd until the car is 5 years old then it drops to £180. By putting it on sorn you declare it off-road Then when you re tax it you pay the lower amount. Took my car to the main dealer for a service yesterday, when I went to collect it the lady on reception explained that with the service I receive 12 months of breakdown cover including at home onward travel and over night accommodation if required all for the sum of £205. Halfords basic service was more than that and I would trust them with a barge pole.

They cannot be doing to bad, a nice new estate car appeared outside earlier this year and that wasn’t cheap.

The yard is under water and the access road is flooded but not as bad as ferry road which I was told is over 3 ft.

Lots of flooding in Horning. Boulters are 6 “ under water in the shop. Ferry car park flooded and the spit between Boulters dyke and Ferry boatyard has disappeared.
