Hello and Welcome Juli to the Norfolk Broads and to this mad house . As JawsOrca said (my dear son) we run out of fuel on Oulton Broad and this was our first time with our new boat. All ended well and now we insure we have enough fuel. The Broads is a great place to rest and relax . Enjoy and we all look forward to hear from you . Regards Marina ️

We did look for you both on Monday, but we will be just down from you and around to the left. Between the Shetland 4-2 and the Brooms boat (Elizabeth). It will be good to have who I want to work on the boat . Will you be around on the 6th June? Regards Marina ️

Paul no problem and don't worry I take dearest Alan with a pinch of salt . As for anyone thinking of moving their boat to Loddon / Chedgrave, great place, but fat chance of getting fuel for the boat after taking it out . Regards Marina ️

Well I am sorry to say moving to Loddon / Chedgrave did not work out .
We will be moving back on Saturday 6th June and our new home will be Cove Marina .
CaptMatt, sorry we will be neighbours again, just like the old days .
Brundall does have that feeling.

Anyone traveling along the A47 to the Broads in the next couple of weeks .
See the message below from the EDP .
A third weekend of road closures at Postwick is planned from Friday, May 8 to Monday, May 11 to complete the bridge work.
Norfolk County Council bosses have reserved a fourth weekend for possible road closures in case work overruns and extra time is needed.
This is from Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 18.

Hello and welcome to NBN Terry , we were down at the moorings yesterday and it was good to see Hurricane floating and moored up at the moorings. We missed you taking her away from the BA moorings. Did you take her back to Alphacraft Brundall?
We know Graham at Maffetts and he knows our boat .

Hello All, I have just sent Alan 32 photo of Orca launch yesterday and cruising today . I hope he will put them on line for you all to see and for you Grace . The photos show step by step of Orca going into the water, enjoy, because I had tears in my eyes .
It was a day to remember and us parents are very proud of them both .

Hello Lastdraft, we also love Norwich, but the trouble is, I always spend too much money shopping. As for mooring at the Yacht Station. Well we do try to give Friday and Saturday nights a miss for mooring over night .
Norwich is a great city and for us, we still have a lot of places to visit and give the shops amiss .
The other year, with our other boat, we went under Bishop's Bridge and cruised to the far end. It was so good.

This is something I forget every new season and I always need to run through. Me and the Bowline, which is one I always do it wrong and yes I know up the hole round the tree and down the hole, easy .
So this is a link I find: http://www.animatedknots.com/indexboating.php.

Early July Ian and I are spending a long weekend in Cornwall and we will be staying in a hotel, but I am still looking as to when we can still get up onto the boat for July. There is no way I / we are going to miss time on the boat during the season . June has been booked for the weekend of the 5th .

I find I wear deck shoes, as I feel safe getting on and off the boat for mooring and then sitting around on the boat a pair of slippers. All of which I keep on the boat. Then I have a normal pair of foot wear for every day usage ( no flash foot wear).
At some time in the past someone had walked in heels on our fly bridge, so we will have to get that sorted .

What I love is to walk into a pub or restaurant and get a friendly as if we were one of their regular customers ( which in some places we are) and to be called by our names / surnames .
Me walking into a pub down here no way .

No one can say what they would do if or when some thing like that would happen . As I can't swim I would be no good .
