  1. Why is it so Special? Well a week on Friday my drive up to Norfolk will be a different drive, because this time after 6 seasons / years of driving to Brundall, I will be driving to Loddon / Chedgrave and doing my shopping in Beccles.

The A 143 the Great Yarmouth road has many memories for us as a family  . When Alan (JawsOrca) and his sister were younger, we had horse drawn caravan holidays in and around Norfolk and Suffolk. A little different from boating and cruising the Broad. How little did we know then how we, well most of us would return to the area and feel how much love it gives us  :love  :love . It is not only the places, but also the people  :clap .

Roll on a week Friday and cruising on Saturday down to meet up with Alan and Dave   .

  2. Well Iain, you have had better temperatures than what we have had down here, but what you must remember is the old saying " Never cast a cloud till May is out"  :norty: .

All we can do is enjoy the warm sun shine  (our cat's have enjoyed laying in the sun).

Everyone out on the Broads have been so lucky  :clap this Easter.

Last weekend while we were on the river and just relaxing, to see two Kingfishers flying pass us. What a sight and sound  :clap. The water sends me into a daze and I just feel at ease  :shocked . Give me nature over humans  :love

Chedgrave / Loddon great places for food and drink and we would recommend to give the Kings Head Restaurant a try and The White Horse cheersbar .

We will be up again in three weeks to be there for Alan and Dave (JawsOrca) on there big day (only in case a helping hand is needed)  :Stinky .

  10. :River Police  :River Police Ok, yes I did buy a little white mermaid fender, but it was for Ian (ChelseaIan14) as part of his Birthday present (he is 60 today cheers ).

Our lady will fit in nicely :clap and will go on the port side at the rear of the boat , as we do need a new fender to replace the old one.

I could not get a pink mermaid over here, but Alan (JawsOrca) has said he would buy a tin of pink paint  :norty: .

  11. Hello Geoff, that is great news that you can look after yourself, because my husband finds it hard to change the bedding and I / we have brought a new hover (dyson) and he is finding it hard to use the tools for the stairs. Ian is good at cooking (he's a chef)  :clap
