We can only hope that the yard saw it going aboard and presumably they didn't object. Maybe the yard supplies them for their customers to use? I have a barbecue on the veranda of my shed, not a problem, why should it be? .

John, I do understand where you are coming from on this one but I feel it is a mistake to confuse the 'carp industry' with angling in general.
I do have one great concern though, and that is the use of keepnets . I don't and won't use one myself.
The Romans also built on the high ground at Burgh St Peter, on the banks of the Waveney. Come to that, they also built at Burgh Castle, on the high ground, on the banks of the Waveney. Perhaps building on the high ground at Reedham, on the banks of the Yare, wasn't such a bad idea after all?
