  1. You misunderstood, I was worried that he misspelled bachelor. I like archeologists, the older we get the more they like us...
  2. Careful Timbo, we don't want to get kicked out... Paul
  3. Hi Simon, I actually did one more visit with her the next year, 2001, when Rachel and Nate came too, it was a family video and I used non copyright free music and cannot change it now as I lost the original edit file. It is a real fun video so I'll see what I can do with it. It is shot in digital SD. As for the phrase "assle efta", online is not the place to look, just ask a Tyke. It is simply the way we say "I will have to..." Next time Google my childhood friend Ian McMillan! He has a T-shirt that says "I don't need Google, I'm married to a Yorkshire Lass!
  4. Great Simon, thanks for the quote, I know the feeling, especially when the sun is shining! I just signed a contract with a large company in New York to show my films on their 4K showcase, they gave me a channel, so it looks like the Broads will soon get some 4K exposure in the US, Canada and Mexico. I will try to post another oldie from 2001! Paul P.S. For those who don't know what 4K is, it is four times the resolution of HD, very clear and colourful.
  5. Thanks everybody. I am trying to make a 4K classic happen. Any Broadophiles out there want to help me out with the video? Just post a quote of what epitomises the Broads for you personally, or a moment you recall, but must be a one-liner. I want to include some quotes and try to communicate these moments with images. At the end of your quote tell me who I should say said it!
  6. I live in Hong Kong, I don't know the history but it is certainly a junk, though not a very large one.. Paul
  7. Sorry forgot to sign, Paul. P.S. I have four Broads videos at http://www.xscion.org/ under U.K. Videos. Enjoy!
  8. I am hoping to come on the Broads in May and Film 4K. Any ideas, I'm looking for a new angle. (I know fishing!).
  9. I have another I didn't post from 2001. I must have a look. In those days I used regular music so it will get flagged, but I may try. Similar quality to The Way We Were, but with both Rachel and Nate so fun!
  10. Love the Strines Inn for a Yorkshire Pudding for lunch and a cream tea in the town later. The Church Youth Easter Hike was always in the Peak District, walked from the Flouch Inn to Edale a few times. Thanks for the pic. Paul
  11. When my Americal friends refer to my "accent" I always say: "Accent? I don't have an accent, I'm English!" Paul P.S. I'll have to do a Broads video using my pure Yorshire English.
  12. Thanks Simon, getting the professional/personal balance is what I'm working on. Trying to major on the place without getting in the way. For Lori, my home is in Yorshire about half an hour from Castleton, I must do a Derbyshire Hills video! Paul
  13. Thanks, I'm sure I'll make it next year , Paul
  14. Re Diary of a Broadophile etc. I filmed them, so many thanks for your kind comments. I was recently encouraged to join the forum so here I am. I need to put the record straight though, do I sound American? Help! I am from Yorkshire, lol, but I live in Hong Kong at the moment. My daughter who was with me on A Spring Tale (spoofy) is living in New York, she is a composer and is at present the Musical Director of a Grammy Award winning Jazz Orchestra there. She composed music for my Cambodia film, and conducted it live in Brooklyn Concert Hall while the film rolled on the big screen! Awesome. She recently put Emily Brontes poem, "No Coward Soul is Mine" to music, also premiered in New York, so I must film in Haworth next time I go home for Bronte fans. Trouble is I need a stormy day, every time I go there it's sunny! (No joke.) My son, with me on Broadophile, studied drama in Aberystwyth U and Theology in London. He lives in London. I now have Pro 4k cameras and am producing 4k films for TV. South Korea is launching the first 4k video channel in the world. The Broads videos are really just personal videos, but when BBC Norfolk (http://norfolkonfilm.tumblr.com) asked to use Rub a Dub Dub I put a little more time in and produced Diary of a Broadophile. I was back in the UK recently but Ryanair tempted me to skip the Broads for once. I filmed in New York, Marrakesh, Girona, Costa Brava, Barcelona, Malta and Pisa. Watch prsw100 on youtube for my latest films from India, Burma, China, Norway, Nepal and Macau. Mmmm, I just read that list again and got jet lagged, lol. Will be back next Spring to film the broads in 4K. I need a new angle, any ideas? Paul
