Just got home .A good day hopefully we've raised a few Bob.The other week.The beach party on the Saturday and Lifeboat day on the Sunday. We raised Sixteen thousand pounds.

Very good,think nearly all the Herring gone. Free fireworks next Tuesday. That will be the last summer ones.

So for weather good,rain held off. A few photos.

Today I'm helping at the Herring festival,Hemsby beach.In aid of Hemsby Lifeboat. There's also a hovercraft there today.Lets home the weather stays kind.

It's no picnic,but as I said remaining positive I think helps.I have been lucky the three Cancers have all been at a early stage.Oddly the thing that worries me the most.Is my COPD.Im still on steroids and will be for the next two and a half weeks. I'm still better off then many. I've said many times if you don't feel right,get yourself checked.

Boat good I did painting on Monday and last week.Back tomorrow. Just a few small bits of painting. And some tidying up.Then on the boat early next month for a week.

encourage incou Thanks I always try to stay positive. I think that helps with the Cancer. I refuse to let Cancer get the better of me.I encourage others to stay positive. With Cancer its Important to live life to the full, however long or short that is.

My Consultant phoned this afternoon. Nearly three hours later then planned.The results from my MRI,show the tumors in my head are not getting larger,my lungs are good.So no further treatment. Just further follow up scans.Next one October. So good news.

Then and now,the first evening and the thought of time on the boat and places to visit.

I'm certain BA would have to submit a planning application.

Agree it may well be that a good reason to take action.Planing regulations are In place for a reason.So let's see why they were told to close.

I was somewhere,not sure where.The bill was £10. They keyed in £1000. Never had a card payment until today for £310.000.

Yesterday Marina's sister and brother in law pipped in and stayed the night.This morning early afternoon. We gave them a little tour.Started down by Martham boats.Then Horsey,a few other places then Hemsby. Along yhe way,we had coffee and some nice cake.I paid the waitress said £31. No problem. I was unable to tap,so had to card in and key numbers. No problem. Then I saw the total.310k.Think you need to check that! For that price I could have been a major share holder.

We brought Mermaid from Richardsons also. As MM said Autumn time they nearly always have some of there boats for sale.

You may well see more boats for sale in the Autumn.

So quite pleased, first topcoat done .Second coat next week.Then some paper and some door hand handles. Photos

Doing some painting on Mermaid. Marina went to GY for eye check.So I've done some undercoating.We now have about three weeks before hopefully take the boat out for a week. Some photos.

That's good.When went traveled down to Addenbrookes,it put at least half an hour to our journey.

Greys fish and chip shop Wroxsham. Takeaway and eat in. Lovely fish and chips.Not fancy ,just well cooked. We go all year round.
