Black spots with the non slip decks go hand in hand Neil im afraid god know we’re it comes from but twice a year deck bush on a brush steel soon sorts it out. John
  3. Enjoy the Ferry house but the menu was very limited when we called in a few weeks ago and the burgers have never been anything to write home about. John

  7. We live a few doors away to a an Extinction Rebellion main guy he has a fossil fuel car and cuts his grass with his petrol mower.
  8. If travelling to Norfolk this weekend fill up before if you can as not much diesel around. So probably no work for me if it carries in into next week, possibly no holidays if the yards can’t get any for the boats. Oh to be retired 🤔👍
  9. Looks a well looked after boat enjoy ! John
  10. The cheap hollow board cladding is no good for this and I certainly wouldn’t use upvc cladding internally anyway as it’s a major fire risk! John
  11. Seems a good price at 80k , big boat though to maintain and run. Can’t see a duel steer as most of the other 43,s though ? John
  12. Good luck with Bramble she looks a character. We lost our lovely Lab last week not a good day. John
  13. Oh dear open wallet surgery seems to be happening again Martin 🙈 John
  14. Yes had a great 7 years with her but a sedan is a floating apartment with a height restriction and not a family sociable space. Looking forward to being outside again 😀 John
  15. As we have become boat less recently and looking for a new boat at the moment we considered looking at these 2 but the cassette toilet was not an option, and the faircraft offering didn’t have a second mate viewing seat opposite the helmsman's seat . But hopefully we got sorted this weekend as offer accepted on a boat we have loved the design of for a few years 😉 John
  16. We had our holiday cancelled the same morning we were due to travel in fact the car had just been loaded and good to go Oct 2020, we were to be on the Kriss cruisers new boat Victoria as the river had gone into flood. John
  17. Just paid £137 inc vat for ours as just received a slightly delayed invoice from Nov last year from Banks Boats John
  18. With the rules changing re Covid my son had to go in work this week even though he has a positive result and feeling rough. This is in the royal navy as well. He was one of the few people not to get it on an 8 month deployment last year. So now it’s considered as a common cold and nothing to worry about any more after 2 years of panic mode ! John

    Roadworks 2022

Traffic lights and single lane over Wroxham bridge. A big hole is being dug Wroxham side. Quite a hold up either side of bridge. John
  20. Talking to a guy at Brooms today they have 1 boat out, one being used later in the week for a tv cook (Ainsley Hariott ) programme, then steadily more from next weekend. They were all looking top notch and ready to go. John

    Roadworks 2022

New traffic lights up at Wroxham bridge what a complete joke! John
  23. Hi my opinion through experience I think you would get a bit fed up of carrying petrol cans around as there aren’t any petrol pumps any more around here. The Shetlands seem a good starter boat but they do seem to change hands quite regularly for some reason. There is a Shetland 29i on again which gives better stern on access but it’s a bit over priced in my opinion. There isn’t much decent around at the moment I’m afraid but this could change once April comes so don’t rush into it would be my thoughts. John
  24. A little breezy in Broadland today 45 mph winds at the moment due to calm down a little late evening hope you get some sleep! John
  25. IMG_4855.MOV Had a late cruise after work with the bit of extra daylight we have and very pleasant It was especially seeing a seal having his dinner, a large pike. John
