  1. Wow thank you so much sorry I have only just seen this... I know my grandad brought her and used parts from the white moth to fix her... I think some of my aunties and uncles was also conceived on her too. Would love to be able to talk some more my family would love it please and thank you. Kindest regards Laura :)

  6. These are amazing pictures thank you mat for sharing them. Will mean alot to my family
  7. This is 1 of the pictures painted of sundog in the late 60's when my mum lived aboard her. Each of my uncles and aunt all got a painting done of her so they are all slightly different. We have a few photographs of her but not many. It's fab finding all the information I have about her so far.

  9. My Grandad James Hyde (jim) defo know pulled her out at Geldeston. I was told by royalls yesterday that some of white moths parts was put on sundog for some reason or another. But im just happy to of found a little out if nothing at all. Yes there was tones of wherrys back then I for one feel very lucky indeed that my family had something to do with her its been amazing to not only find out about her and a little bit about my grandad. Thank you for all your help and information you have given me!
  10. This is another one we found but wer not to sure if it has A867 on it. Crazy that there isnt Much info on Sundog at all and everyone has such different storys about what has happened to her. The only thing i know for sure id that her mast is in Royalls garden.

  15. Also found out wasnt ever called Alice but was actually Ecila who my aunt was named after. My Grandad brought her in 1966 we think until she broke.

  17. Thank you for that imtamping2 yea we have this picture but many thanks. I have just gotten off of the phone to a Nigel at royals boatyard who have told me they have the mast. He has been very helpful and told me a few things about my granddad which was amazing and helping me to find out more information on Sundog
  18. No i haven't my aunty Ecila had though. I know that sundogs original name was Alice as my aunty was named after her with the name spelt backward. Also thank you for the link. we also have these photos... its a shame there isn't much information on Sundog

Yea as far as i know my grandad tried to restore her but i think he stupidly pulled all the planks out at once so i have read somewhere however dont know if that bit is true. we have been told loads of things about her. We also got told thatsundog was burnt out and her mast is in a pub garden in Beccles. Another is the mast is in Mr royalls garden and had the name jennymorgan on top of the mast. I have currently a painting in the office that was done of the sundog went my mum lived on her. would be lovely to now try and piece together just where she is and what pieces are where. would be great if you do have some pictures of her JennyMorgan. :)
  21. Yes its an old wherry. I know royalls has parts of her. But got told yesterday they might have all of her so not to sure. Yes solace is a gorgeous piece of workmanship.
  22. I think I might of asked this along time ago but since the passing of my nan 4 months ago I'm really wanting to find as much info as I can about sundog... I have been told that her mast/sail is at Royalls boatyard but have been told today that she could all be at this yard does anyone happen to know anything would be a massive help. Many thank Laura
  23. Thank you for info LondonRascal will defiantly look them up. Defo want HD the better quality image we can get the better. We are now getting somewhere with our website as the domain name took forever to get but once its set up there will be a link on there to the web cam.
