  1. Just back from loosening a friends ties at Herbert Woods. The bridge is showing 5 foot 2 hours before the peak. All of the carpark flooded and the water approaching Lathams . ( cheap biscuits tomorrow although they might be a bit soggy ).
  2. High water at Potter Bridge tonight predicted height 2. 19.normally it comes over at 1 .70. Welly boots in the Falgate I reckon. INFO from James May.
  3. Boats behind the barrier moored at Herbert Woods are fine with their lines and fenders. At the Bridge on the Parish moorings where their day boats are, the boats are much higher but still no problems. Even Harry May's boat looks quite comfortable. High tide in 15 minutes and I'm off to bed.
  4. Water a little higher tonight, high tide at Potter approx 1.00am . Currently at .62 needs to get 1.07 to come over. Verycold and windy but no white stuff so far.
  5. Friday seems to be the day, tonight at Potter things are ok. High tide at Yarmouth on Friday is about half 9 am and pm so add your timings to where your boats are . Here it is about +4hours, .It's grand daughter day for me but if things look to be bad we can have a look at the bridge and will post here.
  6. Just popped down to Potter Bridge and the tide is running very fast , you would have to be quick to play poo sticks , but it doesn't look like it will be over the quay heading. No sandbags outside Lathams ,High tide in about 20 minutes.
  7. Latest river level information for: the River Thurne at Repps 10:38pm Wednesday 11 January 2017 Latest level 0.59m Normal range is 0.00 m to 1.07 m Recorded at 10:15pm Wednesday 11 January 2017
  8. Maurice , how do you get on with Potter bridge if you are coming from Hickling ? We moored at Porter & Haylett and have just tripped up to Coltishall a few times to get used to handling things as even Wroxham bridge has been a problem depending on tides.
  9. Live locally as the name suggests . Recently returned to the boating world in a share with my son . Have a few jobs on an Elysian to sort so it's going to be a few busy months.
  10. Ventilation is one thing We do not have to worry about , however an ill fitting screen has allowed water in , Now got tarpaulins covering the area . However a lack of ventilation will encourage condensation and that could cause the mould to form.
  11. Very high winds at Cromer , Sea very rough . Just been watching a video stream on F/book.
