Certainly not blaming any hire yards at all... they could do and say everything to discourage littering but at the day it is the conscious decision by the hirer to bin it or chuck it.. Education is the way .. until then perhaps name and shame them , it's worked for shoplifting...

What is the best policy for holiday boaters leaving bags of rubbish on the banks...went through some bags this morning and found who it was, which craft and hire company...

Let's ave a little clear up....there is only one group involved on the whole berney site ..that is us..we have done up the cafe as a licensed bar and will be moving on to the pub soon...nice to see the gossip evolving among the boating community without any boaters...come and see us on face value...remember what I said at the start of all this ..we are here to save the pub and it's history and our heart is placed firmly on berney soil.. wot you a rekonin boy

Well what a thoroughly perfect evening ...locals , marshmen , walkers and a few boaters ...no rave unfortunately...but at least now a few more people have met us and....proof of the puddin.boy...

And a big old hello to you all....what's all this about a rave...wish I'd been told as it might clash with our opening.... hold you hard an less a that old squit ... we will not now or ever be holding/hosting or attending any rave at the berney....my favorite saying is the proof of the pudding is in the eating....any silly bugger can talk rubbish promising the world , but at the end of the day the truth shines through......so....perhaps the best thing to do is come and have a look and support us.....green Jack beer arrives tonight ..!!!!!

You may be in luck Gracie......We will have the cafe and shop open by Easter with the pub to follow ....Our history has been creating beautiful organic outside areas at posh festivals. Entertaining adults and children outside is our specialty and your dream of happy kids , crisps , shandy and decent grub looks very likely.......And of course chocolate

Have absolutely taken everything on board .... and I do believe we're all singing from the same hymn sheet.... Seems easy to please half of you with the 3 C's.... Coffee Cake and Chocolate ..... Will be very happy to give as much help with mooring and cast off ...Fallen in enough times not to worry any more.. What would you like to see going on at the cafe...What are your food preferences... We are not looking at it profit first with pound signs in the eyes more lifestyle , important moorings and then perhaps a couple a quid...... What's the fishing like..?
