  1. I guess it must be legal or they wouldnt do it. Havent event tickets been brought online since the 90`s and having no bank account generally means no job offers,
  2. , far from it Ray more like one of the first 100 through the doors. For those thinking of visiting it is now card payments only, beer prices are very reasonable but I did hear a grumble about the price of wine and our four legged friends are welcome in both bars at the present time.
  3. The Thin White Duke did refer to The Norfolk Broads but wasnt it under the aka of Ziggy Stardust.
  4. My parents used to run a small fleet of six wedding cars. Rolls Royce and Jags in the main, these werent new cars by any standards but were well looked after and every time they went out my parents were praying nothing would happen causing the bride to be delayed on their big day. We all know about Murphys Law dont we!
  5. Went to the Shoulder of Mutton with family visitors and a well behaved collie dog last night around 7pm, we didnt pre book a table and were told to order the food early as there would be delay in serving due to them being busy which wasnt a problem to us. Three different meals arrived before we had finished our first drinks which suprised us all and everyone enjoyed their meals. Chips were chunky homemade chips and the bill didnt make me weep.I`ll drink in the Ram and eat in the Mutton.
  6. Doesnt appear to be visitor moorings yet and hear that they are still looking to hire cook/ chef.
  7. Cream for me, any type will do. Rather eat apple crumble without cold custard tbh if that is the only choice.
  8. That vet is a braver man than me. Hello Mr Wolf with the big teeth, now you dont know me but would you mind awfully if I had a rumage around err, underneath, to see if you have had the snip?
  9. All I might add to 2/ a folded hand like a clenched fist with the fingers underneath encourages a dog to sniff under the hand and is harder for a dog to bite than an open palm
  10. Always best to ring ahead but Swancraft, Brundall is £1.70 something a litre, (sorry Ive forgotton exactly how much) and £20 for a pump out plus they also stock Calor bottles.
  11. It is very difficult to find a full residential mooring but I hear that a few marinas have been invited to be considered. I thought Cove was leisure moorings and as for traveling time a lot depends on how, what time of day and where in Norwich you want to get to.
  12. Think the vet does it - for an admin fee of course!
  13. Yep and a dog biscuit or two helps a lot Do not do what my sister did once with a new rescue dog on its first day home. She collected it on a Sunday and for its first meal she treated it to the scraps of the Sunday roast, not much, just little bits of meat, peas and gravy. Well, it had been fed dry dog food for a couple of months whilst being behind bars and promptly threw up all over the kitchen floor!
  14. Yep outside and both on leads so that they can be seperated if it kicks off. Start from a short distance apart before closing the distance between them both. Ears and tails might give a clue as to how the meeting is going.
  15. I understand the salt is washed off before serving but how would you say that it make a difference during cooking.
  16. I think some would say yes when crossing over from north to south or going the other way of course!
  17. Is that one bag or two of salt Ian? On a more serious note I cook mine with zero salt as I cant stand the stuff in or on any food, does it really make a difference when cooking.
  18. Did charging by the number of people onboard really take place?
  19. Same as you and me, with teeth! Oh sorry you meant being vegan didnt you. https://www.mcdonalds.com/gb/en-gb/menu/vegan.html
  20. Wasn`t aware of any installment arrangements being accepted by BA.
  21. IF we take the 22,82kw and convert that figure to old horsepower units then that equates to 30.6 hp and using the Thornycroft link above you could have a T-75 engine & 31hp or the T-80 & 32 hp but as you can see the T-75 is closer.
  22. Im afraid you misunderstood, my belief is that now all boats are built to standards (classes) based on their intended use. So a sea going boat is built to a different standard than that of an inland river boat. Then again I could be wrong.
