If anyone can tell me how to do this via wifi, I would be grateful. I am with EE and have a Samsung A70, My wifi is with Tesco, who use the o2 network and has an iPhone 14

You are looking for wi fi Calling, on some Samsung phones you press the green phone icon then the three little dots in the top right hand corner of the screen to bring up the option.

On other phones it is within Phone Settings.

If that’s the case, it’s about time some effort was put into prosecuting the ones who don’t, instead of penalising the ones that do.  😡

I thought I read here and elsewhere that prosecutions were taking place.

As far as I am aware there isn't a website yet.

That is correct. As I understand it the adverts had to be quickly put out to squash untrue rumours by competitors.

The address is Swancraft/Shadow Boats, Brundall.

  4. I see BK Windows are now sponsors of the forum, Kevin at BK refurbed all of my old and leaking windows some 4-5 yrs back and between him and Paul (Swancraft/Shadow boats) they did a great job. The work was water tight and neatly done first time and I havent had one leak since. For those that dont know Kevin he has a wealth of knowledge collected over many years. Single glazed, double glazed and tinted so well worth talking too.

  5. I was talking to a couple who live in a house in Brundall (so no swaying around in the wind or rise and fall with the tides :default_biggrin:).  With indentical iphones both on Vodaphone they told me that as they move around from room to room the signal strength will be better on one phone then the other phone and sometimes no signal at all on one or the other phone.

Moored down by Peachments I have two Samsung S7`s, one on Vodaphone the other on O2 and Vodaphone whilst not perfect seems slightly better most of the time. The router has a Smarty sim installed which is 90% reliable but goes AWOL at the worst possible times! :default_2gunsfiring_v1:

Pop into Brian Wards at Brundle and have a chat to them there , they will point you in the right direction , and don’t forget the forum 10% discount for members

Nice people there but shame it no longer opens on a Saturday.

  7. @dom,

Know of a Broom Sedan, 29ft or 30ft which will be coming up for sale soon and a Broom 30 with duel steer which is probably to tall for you. Both might include leisure moorings with full services.

Based on some of the antics I witnessed during our recent holiday, I wouldn’t have thought that you’d have cause to worry.  I’ve been visiting The Broads for so long, I thought I’d seen it all, but apparently not.  Folk’s ingenuity in coming up with new methods to cause me concern, whether for our safety, our boat’s or theirs on every visit, continues to surprise me!

Even though Ive quoted you this is a general thought. Dont our tolerance level reduce as we get older.

That's a good question. I hope the answer is yes but I'm afraid the answer might be no.

Yeah me too, asked because people are bitching but nobody has raised the point.

  10. Vaughan I aplolgise for my choice of words, I was going to replace "stabbed in the back" with "pouring cold water over" but the timer to edit had operated.

I gave you no lecture but I see no help forthcoming to the area only doors closing.
