  1. So... if you had the choice to moor overnight at Waters Edge (Brammerton )or The Ferry House (Surlingham), which would you go for and why? Oh and do they both have electricity? TIA x
  2. My goodness everyone thank you SO SO MUCH for all your help and advice! I'd never have gleaned this info from trawling through google. I really am immensely grateful! Quick question about pumping out toilets... how often does this need to be done and where do I find a list of places in Southern Broads where you can do it? Best S
  3. Thanks Grendel, we're going mid July and am keeping an eye on this website for updates: https://barnesbrinkcraft.co.uk/blog/pubs-shops-and-cafes-open-in-the-norfolk-broads-2020/?utm_source=Barnes+Brinkcraft&utm_campaign=75dd2c614b-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_03_11_03_50_COPY_02&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_10d1a611e8-75dd2c614b-39275211#What'sopenontheRiverYare
  4. Thanks Cal, good point! I was a bit put off by posts saying that it gets crazy busy in Northern Broads and mooring can be a problem. Also crossing Breydon Water looks a bit daunting! Am I just being a wimp?!!
  5. Hi all Not visited the Broads before so a complete novice here! Am taking the family for a 7 night boating holiday on the Southern Broads and would love some advice from those with more knowledge and experience. So... any suggestions of particular places to stop off and visit (kids are 7yrs and 4yrs old), good pubs and recommended overnight moorings (preferably free)? I'm trying to scope out an itinerary starting from Waveney River Centre but a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to start! Any advice much appreciated! TIA x
