Ha,ha thanks Tim. Our daughter is getting married next year so no holidays for us but definitely looking to hire a boat the following year and already in the look out, wanting a bit more of a modern boat next time but can’t wait to do it again and looking to do 10days next time

Landlord in the White Horse is very chatty , really nice fella just had our starters and waiting for mains now . Weather was scorching today and still hot and sticky, hope we get a ok nights sleep on the boat , sad to be going home as we could have done a few more days.

Absolutely had a lovely day celebrating reaching half a century Thank you for my Birthday wishes and can state the Wine Vault has an amazing chef as our fish platter starter and steaks were amazing and Jo our waitress was so nice and attentive, she even brought my dessert out with candles and sang happy birthday , lovely evening and would recommended

Big change of plan for meal , getting quoted £30 return and no taxi company will to do late evening so just spoke to a lovely lady at the Wine Vaults and we have secured a booking for this evening Cancelled White Lion

It’s 7ft with screen down . Looks like low tide in the morning around 8 to 9 but we also need to think about return as we want to head back to Loddon tomorrow so will only be able to spend an hour or two there .

We are on our way to Beccles and noticed a low bridge ( old bridge ) which look like it’s to low for our boat , does this mean we can’t visit Geldeston?

Yes sorry the White Lion . We have decided to stick with this and arrange a taxi , White Lion have provided a number and having our table arranged , reviews look good so hopefully we will have a nice time. Thanks again everyone

How far is town from Beccles yacht station ? Is worth sticking with the Wheatacre WhiteHorse and then back to town for drinks ?

So where is the Graze White Horse ? Is that a taxi ?

Checked this out and does look nice but tried to reserve tonight and got a answer machine to say closed and call back tomorrow so will try in the morning. Got a feeling my 50th is going to be something not to forget

Yes we may meet up in Beccles . We have the Wheatacre White Lion booked for the evening and then move on for a couple more drinks

Hi BCKev11 So sorry we couldn’t hear you , we realised too late we thought you said are you Ruthie ?? Yes we got a mooring outside hotel , it’s lovely here Just having a 2nd cold beer and then going to sit on our boat with the roof down and crack open the wine Where have you ended up today ?

We managed to moor stern on outside the Wherry hotel and currently sitting in the sunshine outside with a cold beer in hand . For my birthday tomorrow we are going to have breakfast at the hotel as a treat It’s been a really fantastic holiday and a proper adventure and I just want to thank everyone who has helped us on this forum

Hello Had a nice time in Yarmouth and what a beach We are now heading towards Oulton Broad but haven’t managed to secure a mooring overnight so any idea where it’s possible to moor nearby please ? We have managed to secure a mooring for my Birthday tomorrow at Beccles
