  1. Thought you might all be interested in the talk below I saw advertised. 3rd February 2022 Illustrated talk: North Walsham & Dilham Canal 1826-2026 by Ivan Cane. Ivan Cane takes us through the story of Norfolk's only locked canal, looking at its history, construction, working life and demise. Then he will look at the current restoration achievements, challenges and proposals for the coming decade. This unique Norfolk industrial artefact represents one of the later canals built in the country, and the only one engineered by John Millington.   2. Thanks. Yes we've joined group now. Look forward to meeting up in the summer. We've got an Alpha 36. Not had much chance to use her yet (only bought in October) and have taken her out of water for the winter. But very happy with her. What have you got?

  4. Hi Paul, Thanks for your reply. Yes that's our Alpha. Funnily enough we met your sister and the marina last week. She was one that told us about the Alpha Owners club. I googled it but couldn't find anything - and have just posted a question as a new topic. Have now found it on facebook. Hope to see you around in the summer.
  5. We have recently bought an Alpha 36 and heard that there is an Alpha Owners Club that meet up. Have googled this but can't find any details. Be grateful if anyone knows who we should contact.

  7. update survey done and disappointingly had loads of small blisters. got a discount eventually. we will put on hard yearly and monitor, but can anyone make recommendations for osmosis treatment? many thanks Andrew
