  1. Yes, Our boat is 1382B. Is the "B" a year number?
  2. A question for you. What is the significance of the NBA boat numbers. Does the prefix or suffix letter suggest a date of registering. Or is it all random? R&M
  3. Or their misadventures.....:-) Trouble is your too busy "misadventuring" to take pictures.... not that I woud want peeps to see us hit Wroxham bridge first time out,, Welcome JSC from us newbies R&M
  4. La Dolcie Rita, now renamed, we like the font. Hopefully all ok as I could only find 6 of the virgins required. Now relocated to our permanent mooring in South Walsham. A big result we would say, away from the hustle and bustle of Wroxham. Only one swan, two ducks and a goose. Oh and maybe three otters, not to sure... We disregard seagulls... I have to applaud NBS especially Kerry, ok they got their commission on the boat but, it did not end there. Moved the boat to SW, and Kerry collected us and took us back to Wroxham to collect the car. Customer service... at the highest. Amused me, 2.5 hours by river, 20 minutes by car... We have Marine Tech as a neighbough, engine booked in for annual service, (not budgeted for) Grrr. Had a pump out. £20 bugger that we are going to have to learn to poo less... But as the memsahib said, "who wants to deal with your sh*t " We are very slowly gaining experience, moored up at Acle bridge, made a right cock up as got the wind and tide completely wrong. Not as wrong as the next boat I have to say. Sat imbibing a lemonade? and this hire boat came in to moor, a chap all alone, he made it look so bloody easy.. We will get there I am sure... As long as the Memsahib does as she is told, I am the captain, I think....

    Boat Polishing

Thank you for all the above, can I assume is is protective not just cosmetic? R&M
  6. Can I assume that the standard is 16amp, ie, the one I have on the boat now. So need to convert that with a female 16 amp to a male 32 amp??? All good stuff and thanks.
  7. That made I chuckle... " as your boat floats away from you down the river"
  8. Oh dear we are up norf.. In our short time we have experienced some dodgy helmmansship..... !! Not going sarf until we have a touch more experience. Secret there is admitting that we are among the uneducated. This forum is awesome as to helping with that education. I thank you all.
  9. I can see our very new boat.. How did you do that?
  10. Dear peeps. Just back from a few days on our new boat.. First thing we had to get was an extension lead for the hook up... Thanks above... Wednesday, decided to take all down and before we travelled to our new mooring in S Walsham to take a trip to Coltishal. Under the Wroxham bridge. She says are you sure, me F that go for it. Lined it up.. perfect.. then I put it into neutral to let it drift through. I will let your imagination run riot as to what happened next... We reversed and got out quick and went the other way to Ranworth. All education. Thankfully no damage.. Not that I am admitting to anyway... We are looking forward to mooring at S Walsham, Wroxham is just busy, However we met a lot of good helpful people.. Life is good.. R & M
  11. So you can all have a bit of a chuckle, or maybe remembering your first visit to you new boat. We have a medium size SUV. It is full to the gunnels with stuff, there is a small carry on case in the corner with our clothes in... My comment is, there is no way we are going to find room for all that toot... but the female is what they are.. Not sure where the dog is going??
  12. Ah ha, good thought. So basically an extension cable, How many metres do you think, silly question as I do not know how many metres I have onboard.. I will don my dunces hat and go into the naughty corner.
  13. Smelly petrol in my car, the very thought. Good idea thank you...
