  1. two fuel tanks, again surplus to needs a steel tank of 50 litres and a plastimo 22 litre, both in good condition the 50 litre £20 and the 22 litre £15 collect from brundall many thanks

  4. your boat is the right height for the broads, it is the others that are too high,
  5. i had a safari for a fair number of years and i made a dipstick out of timber with marks every 3 inches, it does give you a good idea of the amount of fuel in the tank, keep the dipstick in the gas locker
  6. chatting to a local eel catcher a few years back, he told me it was one of the deepest spots on the northern rivers
  7. it may also be the lift pump, on one of my old bmc,s the fuel drained back overnight leaving me to bleed every morning, kits are available

  15. yes, there is a story in our local rag this morning of a young couple on holiday in thailand having a motorcycle accident, the insurance cover they have only extends to £13,500 and the hospital bills are way beyond that and still mounting
  16. i would imagine there will be signs erected, eg: "STRICTLY NO MOORING" with a plot number along side, then when you book you will be allocated a plot
  17. on a lighter note, in a couple of months time the langley dyke moorings will be anything but peace and quiet, and the noise will not be from fellow boaters but from the rookery on the other side of the mooring
