Can I second what Iain has to say. A very big thank you from us three myself hubby and my sister who lives Kent. It has been as good as going on holiday ourselves. Such lovely photos. Do take care and have a very Happy Christmas and an even better New Year.
Merry Christmas to you all and here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year. . . .
Just looked at the smilies - you wouldn't want to be stood in the bus queue with that lot would you? Especially when the Kings Arms has just turned out. The Santa with the spinning eyes looks familiar , especially when looking in the mirror at this time of the morning.
Thank you Bill, now I can send it to her. She wont know one mooring from the next but it is keeping us and her occupied with the Broads at a time when we normally are not seeing any of it. It looks rather tight to turn up there.
I popped into Lathams about a fortnight ago and got most of my Christmas Cards, wrapping papers, Ribbon for wrapping, labels, bows well you name I got it. Their Christmas crackers are always good as with their candles. Fortnum and Mason it isnt but who can afford that.
Gosh if only I lived near a Waitrose I would be able to buy lots of things I cannot buy in Beccles, ie.e Vol et vents pastry frozen together with frozen Chinese Pancakes, which I need for a recipe. Oh well we will all have to move to North Walsham. Glad you enjoyed your day in Cromer, did you buy Cromer crab? Where are you moored tonight?
You do realise you are keeping the rest of the boating fraternity entertained.
Monica.
I have just poured myself a cold glass of white wine. You enjoy yourselves you Nogs. So pleased everything has worked out just fine. When do you hand her back - and I dont mean the wife!!
Is this you escaping ??? At one point there was a good close up of you but the darn thing didnt seem to want to know and take a snap so this is the best.
Why cant we have ads like that over here rather than some of the tripe that is on the TV at the moment. It made me think of my Mum in the Home , she is not alone but is in her own world alone with Alzheimer's Dementia. She knows no one and hardly speaks now. Make the most of your families while you can.
The trouble is marine cookers are expensive and they have to be the correct ones for a boat. Ours was nearly £700 but I am sure there are others a lot cheaper. As long as they have an automatic cut out on them I dont see any problem,. I know how you feel if the boat is up for sale, sods law something like this would happen. May be Ludham Bridge have one in their stock , would it be free standing or fitted.
