I know exactly how you feel Cattleya. It's like conversation is totally out of the question, ha! 200-2500 RPM is definitely the threshold of no more talking. So what techniques did you use to soundproof the engine bay? I have been researching for a while. I did some research on this a couple months ago but never went through with it. One place that I remember that has the kind of sound blankets that I think may work are at that site. Would a blanket be able to go near the engine like that? I don't really know where to start.
