I hope it survives. With Richardsons and a few other boatyards making you have to use the pilot at the cost of £12 return i think it will put people off going up.

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. My wife and i have had two boating holidaystogether (my wifes an old hand after spending many weeks on boats as a child) on the broads, first hiring from DRL Marine and then from Whispering Reeds. This year we are taking the kiddies with us and have booked a little bathtub from Richardson. Hopefully will be back in one piece. Roll on April.
