Martin, don't spoil a good rant by introducing hearsay :-D. The boys in blue probably can't use the new boat, I expect the nice new outboard was stolen earlier. A helicopter ! Good luck with landing that near the stolen boat, cars in attendance, !! Might be tricky to get to most areas of the river by road. What they need is a nice new boat......
Great gadget, we use it on the windows and the shower, just don't use it on its side or with the blade down, it spits water out and becomes very unhappy.
Regards
Mark
My favourite was my first boat, then my second, then my third. My norfolk boat is a Topcraft topliner, pig ugly but just right for how we use her. We hired her the last year the yard was open and spotted it up for sale last year, at least we had a one week test drive before buying. Thought about swapping my Medway based Calypso for a second topliner but that plan got squashed by swmbo.
Good afternoon, I have been reading the forum for a while and decided to start posting.
I do like the new format. I have a Topcraft topliner, ( Whitey ) at Brundall Gardens and an ex Richardson's Calypso ( ellieknight ) on the river Medway at Yalding. I do like being afloat.:-D
Hi, I have a calypso and thought about adding rear windows, it seemed like a lot of work. I fitted a wife reversing camera and leave the rear door open. I have found a small wing mirror very useful for seeing the blind spot when mooring. Let me know if you go ahead with the windows..
