  12. Spent many years moored at St Neots and cruised every corner of the system and enjoyed it all before bringing the boat to Norfolk when we moved .Mick Jones and his boatyard were always on our visit list when in the area ,in my mind the best yard on the Ouse.Nice place to be .
  13. I’m with Nav and General for many years ,found them great when I recently had a problem with renewal.
  14. I bought a Seagull outboard in the seventies from Beales in Hickling when he gave up hiring out powered dinghies because of the weed,he got fed up with going out to retrieve them when they got stuck. If I am right he had a hand operated petrol pump at the garage.Got back more than I paid for it when I sold the outboard a couple of years ago

  18. Hi Marco, like you we moved here 18 years ago and love it .we have had many boats in Forty years from a small Shetland with outboard ,a petrol Freeman then a Princess 30 all great in their own way but have had a Bounty 28 for 15 years now ,we realised we wanted certain features which had to be a full size separate bedroom ,large shower, good gally, large windrow area with seating inside that could convert to sleep two and out side seating area and a sliding roof, which can be opened or shut in seconds .We have been to every corner of the Broads under all the bridges and don’t feel that WE could have be better suited.
  19. Hi,we moved here to the edge of a market town in North Norfolk 18 years ago and love it.We considered country and coast but are so pleased we ended up here now as we are getting older and benefit from the close proximity of every thing we need. For us it has worked out well and would never considered moving back.
  20. Did not realise Earles Court was gone, had an atmosphere of its own and was a good day out.
  21. Thank you all for your hard work and time,Respect to all.🤗
  22. Thank you Grendel for comments,I posted the thread to see how the. Numbers allowed would affect the leisure industry and possible outcomes or to the solutions that could apply to the type of cases mentioned. It was never intended to become yet another political debate ,of which there are many .I would still like to here comments about the way these visitors and providers can face this situation when these new limits come into force ?
  23. Reading the news this morning and the new restrictions made me think of the implications for the holiday industry in and around Norfolk ? Many boats and holiday rentals cater for up to 10 or 12 people who have bookings ? I read elsewhere of 7 people booked on a boat from Monday ,do they leave one person out ?,get refunds ? Or rebook ? Just as the industry was beginning to settle down a bit 😮
