Sounds like a good plan. Hopefully this drizzle will soon clear.
We are going to take the tea time tide through Yarmouth and hopefully overnight at Reedham, space permitting.....

RB was tucked up at Reedham on Sunday. Looking lovely as always.

We spent yesterday tucked up at Ranworth-awful day.
We must have passed you Sunday on Breydon. As we went North.
Just passed through Ludham up the Ant. The usual speeders are out!
-
So they came past the Berney Arms and went straight over?!
Nobody stuck there today!
-
I do as best as I can but when the boat infront leaves and a not 10 foot smaller arrives you are not always around I live it again!

Wrong type of sun again!

The Park at Whitlingham? green at Thorpe?
The moorings at the End of Rockland broad could be good with some shots down the dyke?

I think at high tide there is about 6foot. I reckon rise and fall of the tide is between 2 and 3 foot

It is close to the road but it's not that bad. The bridge height at either end may cause you an issue. Whilst I have never moored there the Commissioners Cut (I think that is what is called) is often talked about as a good place to moor and then catch the bus into Norwich. There is always the mooring at Whitlingham which is on the main river by Thorpe.

Was she still chugging water out of the exhaust? thermostat does not usual cause an overheat as they should fail in the open position. Raw water impeller, engine water pump or a leak causing it to have lost all its coolant. most likely.
I would have the thought the person who is given out free advice on the forum would be a good bet to call out........

Excellent. Thanks for the info. They have an event thing on next BH Monday. If the weather is kind it's dinghy from Potter!
-
We are thinking of taking our dinghy up through Potter to Horsey Windpump-does anybody know if it is possible to moor a dinghy there?
-
Thanks Matt
You never know, we may be cruising in a Thunder and Lightning convoy one day, and i don`t mean the weather either?.
Unless you like school holiday weeks it will be unlikely and given the choice I would not have them!!!

Just how long are you going for? LOL ;-)

Bill,
Thanks for trying to soften the blow by saying the weather is not going to be great. It didn't work.
Yours sincerely
Matt

Janice, if by some miracle the Salhouse Moorings were full there must be someone there with a dinghy who would do the honours? I certainly would.

I went into Brian Wards 2 minutes before closing time once (I did
Not realise until I left and looked at the times in the door) I was in there for about 20 mins and they could not have been more helpful.

My problem with that is that my sausages would keep rolling off into the water!

I think Thunder also has a copper bottom.
