The origional owner has taken back Pelican and according to him when I spoke to him in Sutton Staithe Boatyard last week has spoken the Broads Authority and made them aware of the fact. I presume but I could be wrong that he has paid the relevant Toll

Sat on board moored at The Ferry House Surlingham when 10 mins ago on 10/7 SOB cruised past the moorings heading down river towards Brundal. It was in its mooring at the BA yard at Thorpe this morning where it has been for some time. They must have got the part and repaired it. Question is will it resume its duties such as they were or have BA sold it

Vey sad news and our condolences go to Gill and the family. First came across him at The NBN/NBO meet at the Dog at Ludham Bridge where he organised the Welly Wanging contest which was hilarious-RIP big guy

Sonia used to be in partnership with Hollocks but bought him out of the Ferry round about 10 years or so ago. Very wise and astute move, she has never looked back

The info is 100% reliable I asked Robert from SSBY who sold it and he told me. I have owned an Alpha 35 centre cockpit for 24 years now and I can honestly say I would not change it for any other boat- it fills all our needs and requirements which is all I could ask

According to a friend of ours Dave, who has just moved his boat there from Reedham, that is the case and when we passed the moorings on our way back North a week ago all the moorings appeared to be open but the electric posts were still covered up and I am led to believe they will now be responsible for them
