  1. Hi everyone, I was meant to leave saturday for a week of cruising and fishing but my outboard wont go. It starts first pull, idles perfectly but when put in forward or reverse gear and accelerated it revs up with no thrust to move the boat. I've removed the prop to check for wear on the spline shaft and the hub washer and neither are damaged. I've tried turning the prop by hand in gear and it spins both ways without major resistance but i can hear no grinding so cant imagine there being anything broken inside. Could anyone have any idea what it could be as this is my only week of till june Next Year and i really want to get out on my boat. Thanks in advance Branden :-D
