A Week Onboard Thunder

Spent last week onboard Thunder. Never did plan to go far and that turned out to be the case!

Having survived Storm Katie sunday night at Brammerton we dashed back to Brooms and went to the sealife centre in Yarmouth.

Monday night was spent at Brooms and Tuesday we went over to Wroxham to visit the little steam train

Then we stopped by to the seals at Horsey which was well worth the effort!

Tuesday night we remained at Brooms and Wednesday we took the train into Norwich and completed the Easter Egg trail and enjoyed some very nice fish and chips for lunch!

Wednesday night we were still at Brooms but Thursday came with sunshine so we took a run down to the WRC for a swim and a meal.

Friday morning came along with a hard frost which was soon melted by the sunshine.

On route back to Brooms we stopped at Reedham and were passed by Moonlight Shadow

On route back to Brooms when we saw a seal!

 

Just by the Beuchamp Arms.

 

Despite the storm it was a great week and it made a real change using the car to go out. In the end we only used £24 of diesel and cruised for about 13 hours.

Glad you had a good trip Not sure it was SOB,went past it yesterday in the same place but it was Aqua Bell.Does that mean they now have two boats of a kind?
