pks1702
Tidemill Marina Woodbridge last week Still can't work out how he did that... If inside on a rising tide he would have hit the sill and had to wait until more water over the sill. If outside we would have hit the sill but been outside the Marina. Can only assume he was outside tried to come in on a falling tide could not get over the sill and to secure him as best as possible they turned him stern in. senator
Hi Perry, Guess he could have rubbed the sill on the way out, noticed a few saily types that took the boat out on a falling tide to anchor outside the marina. Was told that they struggle to make the bar at the entrance to the Deben if they wait for enough water to get out of Tidemill so they want to move as soon as the boat is floating in the river. Still pretty stupid though, there is a very accurate tide gauge right next to him. Ian
