Missing Landmark

Well it's stretching things a bit from Norfolk/Suffolk coast but if you're heading into the Thames, you've just lost a major landmark:-

Sadly half the local muppets were staring closely at Kingsnorth Power Station,  whilst they demolished the Isle of Grain power station ,,  stupid is as stupid does

We noticed that and (sorry to admit) had a little chuckle at their expense, on the way to the traffic jam at Riverside Country Park.

Should have gone to Raspberry Hill Lane between Lower Halstow and Iwade (and joined the Environment Agency staff sifting through the fly tipped rubbish)!

I think from The Strand to the Riverside Country Park 90% were moaning at 11.05 that the demolition was late 

The roads were a nightmare trying to get to a survey on Lower Rainham Road.

I have done relay testing at both of those power stations, the chimney is no longer used as they use the shorter ones nowadays, Grain was rarely powered up, and when I was there one of the generating units was sold to india, Grain is the backup for Kingsnorth, when a unit is offline at kingsnorth, grain was the backup unit, ear protection is only worn there when one of the units actually fires up.
