ExMemberBobdog
Have always bought my bits of rope and string from Norfolk Marine at Hoveton, and have always winced at the prices, but at least they were local/convenient. However, I've just discovered this joint, in a warehouse type premises on the road from Ludham to Catfield. Not only are they significantly cheaper, but they actually smile and laugh and joke with you (unlike old grumpy bo****ks at NM). Their website says they sell exclusively online, but they were perfectly happy to flog me a length of mooring line when I turned up on their doorstep the other day.https://www.ropesdirect.co.uk/
