DaveS
What do you guys use, if at all, to keep the stern gear free from fouling ? I've seen anti-fouling gease, and spray coatings advertised, but are they effective ? Dave
senator
use seajet emporer 034 antifoul for the hull and stern gear as it is safe for use on all materials. Seems to do the job quite well.

DaveS
Now anti fouling gease would be most welcome Even nicer if it extended to Seagulls and Pigeons. Dave
senator
Dave, be carefull with antifouls as most contain copper and would eat away at your stern drives with glee, the seajet one I mentioned is copper free and safe for use on Aluminium. It is not cheap but we have found it very effective and it is also supposed to provide 2 years protection, although we find it does tend to wear on the leading edges of the stern gear.
